Terms of use
Last updated 22 July 2026
These terms explain the rules for using the Autismy family service. They should be read with the privacy policy and disclaimer.
Who provides Autismy
Autismy is operated by Karan Dharamshi, an independent developer based in the United Kingdom. Questions about these terms can be sent to support@autismy.app.
Adult accounts
You must be aged 18 or over to create an Autismy account. You must provide accurate account information and keep your sign in method secure.
Creating a passport for someone else
You may only create or manage a passport for another person when you are their parent, legal guardian, authorised carer, or otherwise entitled to manage the information.
You are responsible for involving the person wherever appropriate, respecting their wishes, keeping information accurate, and sharing only what is necessary.
What Autismy provides
Autismy helps users record, review, print, and share support information. Features may change as the service develops. The family launch is provided free of charge. Any future paid features will be described before purchase.
Not professional advice
Autismy is not a diagnostic, screening, medical, therapy, clinical assessment, crisis, or emergency service. It does not replace professional advice, clinical records, care plans, safeguarding plans, or direct communication with the person.
In an emergency, contact the appropriate emergency service.
Your information and responsibility
You are responsible for the accuracy and lawfulness of information you add. You decide which information to download or share and who receives it. Autismy does not verify passport content or the identity of someone opening an ordinary sharing link.
Read the safety and sharing guidance before distributing sensitive information.
Acceptable use
- Do not create a passport for someone you are not authorised to support.
- Do not add unlawful, abusive, discriminatory, misleading, or infringing content.
- Do not use Autismy to monitor, control, or punish another person.
- Do not attempt to access another account or interfere with the service.
- Do not use sharing links to publish sensitive information publicly.
- Do not present Autismy output as verified clinical advice or an official record.
Availability and account action
Autismy aims to provide a reliable service but uninterrupted availability is not guaranteed. Access may be suspended to protect users, investigate abuse, perform maintenance, or comply with the law.
An account may be restricted or closed for serious or repeated breaches of these terms. Where appropriate, reasonable notice or an explanation will be provided.
Intellectual property
You keep rights in the original content you add. You give Autismy permission to process that content only as needed to provide, secure, and maintain the service.
The Autismy name, design, software, and original service materials belong to their respective owner and may not be copied or presented as another service.
Responsibility and liability
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limits your statutory consumer rights. Autismy is not responsible for decisions made by recipients, for information copied after it is shared, or for loss caused by inaccurate content entered by a user.
The final liability wording will be reviewed before public launch.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws applicable in England and Wales, subject to any mandatory consumer protections that apply where you live.
Changes and contact
These terms may be updated as Autismy develops. Material changes will be communicated where appropriate. Contact support@autismy.app with questions or complaints.
